To have documents prepared and/or notarized, notarial true copies of documents made, or affidavits and declarations prepared and/or sworn, you should bring with you two pieces of personal identification, one of which should bear your photograph (for example, an Ontario driver's licence or health insurance card, a passport, or other identification).
If you wish to have documents notarized or notarial true copies of documents made, you should also bring the original documents.
Notarization of your signature is not simply watching you sign a document, witnessing your signature, and affixing my notarial seal.
Making a notarial true copy of a document is not simply making a photocopy of the original, signing the copy, and affixing my notarial seal.
While I usually notarize while you wait, I have to keep a record of what I do and there are some questions I must first ask. I must also see and make a photocopy of two pieces of identification. I also make a copy for my records of whatever I notarize. The record I keep is not kept indefinitely, but only for a reasonable length of time in the event I receive an inquiry regarding what was notarized.
Documents prepared, notarized, sworn

I am conveniently located at 600 Bay Street, Suite 309, Toronto (the northwest corner of Bay Street and Dundas, just south of the Bay Street Bus Terminal). Click here for street map showing my location.
