I was given a vote of confidence by my fellow lawyers when they elected me to four consecutive terms as a Law Society Bencher.  I was grateful for this honour as my activities as an elected governor of the Law Society were personally fulfilling and made me a better lawyer.  Now I am a Life Bencher of the Law Society.  My frequent participation in Continuing Legal Education also ensures that my knowledge and skills are constantly up-to-date.
